Dear Participants,
The Golden Osmanthus Industrial Design Award (GODA) features three competition tracks: the Guangxi Products Renewal Track, the ASEAN Application Track, and the Public Creativity Track. The award aims to address the development needs of Guangxi’s ten modern pillar manufacturing industries and the distinctive application scenarios across ASEAN, while leveraging industrial design as a driving force at the beginning of the innovation chain and the source of the value chain, thereby building a globally oriented industrial design innovation competition platform.
Since the launch of the GODA Call for Entries, the competition has received extensive attention and enthusiastic participation from various sectors. In response to requests from design professionals, academic institutions, and design organizations, and to further ensure the quality of submissions, the Organizing Committee has carefully reviewed the situation and decided to extend the original submission deadline of July 31, 2026 to August 7, 2026 (Friday).
This extension is intended to provide participants with additional preparation time to better present their design creativity and capabilities, further empower industrial transformation and upgrading, and facilitate the implementation and commercialization of outstanding design achievements in Guangxi.
