This track is based on the ten modern pillar industries of Guangxi’s manufacturing sector and distinctive county-level industries. It aims to promote the deep integration of industrial design with regional industries and support the renewal and upgrading of “Guipin” (Guangxi products).

This track adopts the same six categories as the Guangxi Products Renewal Track. Applicants may simply select this track via a one-click option for parallel evaluation, without resubmitting materials. Submitted works should be deeply adapted to the climate conditions, market demands, user behaviors, and cultural practices of ASEAN countries, emphasizing product applicability, feasibility, and commercialization potential in ASEAN contexts. It aims to identify high-quality design outcomes that can directly support industrial upgrading and improve livelihoods in ASEAN regions, building a collaborative bridge of “R&D in China's Major Innovation Hubs + Integration in Guangxi + Application in ASEAN.” Outstanding selected works will receive support including cross-border incubation, industry matchmaking, and international promotion.

This track is open to the general public, university students, and youth creators, aiming to stimulate widespread creativity and enhance participation and visibility of the competition. Official platforms will release engaging and conceptual design challenges related to ASEAN lifestyles and Guangxi’s distinctive industries, inviting innovative product design proposals that demonstrate creativity, novelty, forward-thinking vision, and communication potential. This track encourages low-barrier, accessible participation in design innovation. Outstanding works will be showcased, supported for incubation, and provided opportunities to engage with professional designers, fostering cultural exchange between China and ASEAN countries.
